Part Seven Of The Writing...Sex Inventory

3rd Step Prayer---Be Neat and Thorough

 

Using your list you will now apply a series of questions to each. The Big Book reads "We reviewed our conduct over the years past. Where had we been selfish, dishonest, or inconsiderate? Whom had we hurt? Did I unjustifiably arouse jealousy, suspicion, or bitterness? Where were we at fault, what should have I done instead? We got this all down on paper and looked at it."

So here is the format that will nearly complete your writing journey that God has taken you on.

 

1. Write down the person, object, etc. and in three or four lines describe this person.

               

a. How was I selfish?                                                                                                                                                                                                          b. How was I dishonest?                                                                                                                                                                                                    c. How was I inconsiderate?                                                                                                                                                                                              d. Who did I hurt? (No! Not you!)

e. Who did I arouse...                                                                                                                                                          

    jealousy in?                                                                                                                                                                           

    bitterness in?                                                                                                                                                              

    suspicion in?

 f. Where was I at fault / where was I wrong?

 g. What should I have done instead? (Do not write I should have trust and relied on God. You're looking for the alternative that might have created a more "ideal" situation or circumstance.)
